About My Work

I am a new artist in the art world. I guess my field of expertise as they say is definitely digital art. I do my best while sitting in front of a computer. I also paint using Acrylics,Draw with crayons,soft pastels,markers....Well I am sure you get my point. I love art and always have since I was a child. Life interfered with the me doing anything with this passion up until about a year and a half ago.  All the love for color and shapes came back to me. I remember being a child and my Dad and I were looking at some pieces somewhere and my favorites were always the brightest boldest images in the room. I have since been trying to tone my photographs down but I gave it up. Color is and always will be what brings light into my life. I want to be able to share the feelings and emotions that come with color.I like Digital art a lot but my favorite will always be traditional. Acrylic paints are so versatile they intrigue me. I am working on some pieces and hope to have them up and for sale by the end of the summer 2009.

               My goal is not to become a rich and famous artist but just a little(LOL) I guess I want people to see the work as they see it not have so much a photo of a woman but a happy, sad feeling that may come with looking a this woman. If a person can see my image and feel something inside them then I have completed my task as an artist. Art is in the eye of the beholder as the old saying goes. It is true we see it on a daily basis whether it is a pair of shoes she wears or a pair of jeans I wear. We wear our art. It hangs on our wall of emotion feeling and personalities. we are our own and our art should show that.
